Education
Assistant requires a minimum three-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution with working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office and PowerPoint. Upper Division Clerk requires a degree from a recognized university or equivalent with a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer, corresponding to 10500 KDPH or 9000 KDPH on an average of five key depressions per word. Lower Division Clerk requires 12th class pass or equivalent with the same prescribed typing speeds on computer.
Salary
Assistant is placed at Pay Level 6 of the 7th CPC with a pay range of ₹35,400–1,12,400 per month. Upper Division Clerk is at Pay Level 4 with a pay range of ₹25,500–81,100 per month. Lower Division Clerk is at Pay Level 2 with a pay range of ₹19,900–63,200 per month. Allowances are admissible as per Government of India norms.
Age Limit
Assistant has a maximum age of 30 years as on 14 August 2025. Upper Division Clerk and Lower Division Clerk have an age range of 18–27 years as on 14 August 2025. Applicable relaxations will follow government rules, as specified in the detailed notification.
Application Fee
For UR, OBC, and EWS candidates the fee is ₹2,000 for Assistant and ₹1,600 for UDC and LDC. SC, ST, and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the fee. Payments must be made online through the designated payment gateway during the application process.
Selection Process
Selection will be conducted through Tier-1 Computer-Based Test comprising objective-type questions, followed by Tier-2 Computer Proficiency or Skill Test as applicable to the post. Further procedures such as document verification and medical fitness will be as per organization norms, and exact schedules will be communicated later.
