The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced a major recruitment drive for 114 Group B and Group C posts under Advertisement No. PGI/RC/048/2025/5706. These vacancies are distributed between PGIMER, Chandigarh (51 posts), and PGI Satellite Centre, Sangrur, Punjab (63 posts). The recruitment includes positions such as Nursing Officer, Junior Technician, Dental Hygienist, Legal Assistant, Store Keeper, Receptionist, and various administrative roles. Salary is offered as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:

• Nursing Officer: Level-7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400)
• Most Group B posts: Level-6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400)
• Receptionist, UDC, Junior Auditor: Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100)
• LDC: Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200)

Age Limit

Age limit is generally 18 to 30 years for most posts, and up to 35 years for Nursing Officer. Relaxation in upper age limit applies as per government norms for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and others.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹1500 for General/OBC/EWS, ₹800 for SC/ST candidates, and is exempted for PwBD. Payment must be made online through debit/credit card or net banking. Additional transaction charges may apply.
