PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 Announced for 30 Assistant Manager Vacancies, Apply Online by September 24

• PFRDA has announced 30 Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) vacancies across four streams.

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has opened online applications for 30 Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) vacancies under Advertisement No. 03/2026. The recruitment covers General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams, with the General stream accounting for 25 of the available posts.

Candidates can apply online for PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 until September 24. Qualifications vary by stream and include postgraduate degrees, Law or Engineering degrees and professional qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA and CFA. The maximum age is 30 years as of July 31, 2026, subject to applicable relaxation for reserved categories.

The recruitment will involve three stages. Phase-I will be held on October 15, followed by Phase-II on November 20, 2026. Candidates qualifying through the two online examination stages will be considered for the Phase-III interview.

PFRDA, the statutory regulator for India’s pension sector, is recruiting Assistant Managers through Advertisement No. 03/2026. Online registration and fee payment began on September 3 and will remain available through September 24, 2026.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Vacancy 2026

The General stream has 25 vacancies, while the remaining five posts are distributed among Research, Actuary and Official Language streams.

Stream-Wise Qualification Requirements

For the General stream, candidates must possess a Master’s degree or two-year postgraduate diploma in any discipline. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering are also eligible. Professional qualifications accepted include ACA/FCA from ICAI, ACS/FCS from ICSI, ACMA/FCMA from ICMAI or CFA.

Research stream applicants require a Master’s degree or two-year postgraduate diploma in subjects such as Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics or related fields. A Master’s degree in Mathematics along with a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or a related subject is also accepted.

For the Actuary stream, candidates must be graduates from a recognized university or institute and must have passed, or obtained exemption from, all seven Core Principles papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India.

Official Language (Rajbhasha) applicants require the prescribed postgraduate qualification in Hindi, Hindi Translation or specified combinations involving Hindi with English, Sanskrit, Economics or Commerce. Candidates should check the detailed notification carefully to ensure their subject combination meets the prescribed requirement.

All required educational qualifications are to be considered as of July 31, 2026.

PFRDA Grade A Age Limit

The maximum age for Officer Grade A is 30 years as of July 31, 2026. Candidates should therefore have been born on or after August 1, 1996, subject to the prescribed category relaxations.

SC/ST candidates are eligible for relaxation of up to five years and OBC-NCL candidates up to three years where applicable to reserved vacancies. Candidates belonging to the OBC creamy layer cannot claim OBC reservation and must apply under the appropriate unreserved category.

PFRDA Grade A Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Selection will take place through Phase-I screening, Phase-II examination and Phase-III interview.

Phase-I Online Examination

Phase-I is scheduled for October 15, 2026.

Candidates qualifying Phase-I will progress to the second-stage examination.

Phase-II Online Examination

Phase-II is scheduled for November 20, 2026.

Candidates who meet the prescribed Phase-II qualifying requirements will be shortlisted for the Phase-III interview.

Application Fee

The ₹1,000 fee is inclusive of GST and is non-refundable. Payment must be made online during the application period.

2. Select new registration and enter the required basic information to generate a registration number and password.
3. Complete the application with personal, educational and stream-specific qualification details.
4. Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration according to the prescribed specifications.
5. Pay the ₹1,000 application fee online if applicable to your category.
6. Review the entered information and submit the application by September 24, 2026.
7. Print or save the submitted application by October 9, 2026, for future reference. The system-generated application printout is not required to be sent to PFRDA.
