Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be between 18 and 28 years of age as on 30 June 2026.
Must possess the prescribed educational qualification and trade certificate or relevant experience.
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
10th Standard with Science (minimum 55% marks) and ITI/National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
10th Standard with two years of full-time Apprentice Training in the relevant trade.
10th Standard with three years of work experience in the relevant trade in Government, PSU, or Autonomous Body.
Other Requirements
Candidates must apply only in the prescribed offline application format.
Self-attested copies of all educational, experience, and category certificates should be enclosed.
Demand Draft should be attached wherever applicable.

Salary
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration as per CSIR project norms. The stipend ranges from ₹18,000/- per month for Project Assistant-I to ₹42,000/- per month plus HRA for Senior Research Fellow and Senior Project Associate posts. Research Interns will receive a stipend of ₹24,000/- per month. The exact pay will depend on the post, qualification, and eligibility under CSIR guidelines.
Age Limit
The upper age limit varies by post and ranges between 25 years and 40 years. Age will be calculated as on 12 February 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Women candidates will be applicable as per Government of India and CSIR rules.
