North Western Railway (NWR), Jaipur Division, under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released an official notification for the engagement of 2162 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. Eligibility Criteria

Education

Candidates must have passed 10th Class examination (under 10+2 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks (no rounding off), and must also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Salary

Stipend will be paid during apprenticeship training as per rules of the Railway Board and Apprenticeship norms.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 15 to 24 years of age as on the date of notification. Age relaxation is applicable:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Application Fee

• General/OBC: ₹100/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/Women: No Fee
• Fee must be paid online through the application portal.

Selection Process

• Selection will be done on the basis of a merit list prepared from:
  • 50% weightage to marks in 10th class
  • 50% weightage to ITI trade marks
• No written test or interview is conducted.
