National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), a premier constituent laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has invited applications for the post of Junior Stenographer. The institute, located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, is known for its research and innovation in the field of metallurgical science. This recruitment drive aims to fill 5 vacancies of Junior Stenographer through direct recruitment. NML Junior Stenographer Vacancy

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Must have passed 10+2/XII or its equivalent examination.
• Proficiency in stenography as per the norms fixed by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100 per month (Level 4 as per 7th CPC)

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 27 years as on the closing date of application.

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 500/-
• No fee mentioned for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, so candidates should verify in the official notification.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on a Competitive Written Examination.
• A Proficiency Test in Stenography will also be conducted, which is qualifying in nature.
• Final merit list will be prepared based on written exam scores.
