The National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD), a premier autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has announced a walk-in recruitment for the post of Project Technical Support I. This position is offered under an ICMR-funded project titled “Development of a Next-generation Universal Drug Susceptibility Testing (NGU-DST) Approach for Pulmonary Tuberculosis.” NITRD is seeking eligible candidates with a background in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, or Biotechnology to support the project’s research and diagnostics components. The recruitment is for one post and will be conducted via a walk-in interview on 16th July 2025 at NITRD’s New Delhi campus.

Eligibility criteria and requirement

Candidates must not be more than 28 years old as of the date of the interview. However, age relaxation will be applicable as per ICMR rules for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories. Salary

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹18,000/- along with 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA), as per ICMR norms. The post is initially for six months, extendable every six months based on performance and project requirements, up to a maximum of three years.

Age Limit

Maximum age is 28 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation in age will be provided as per government norms (ICMR guidelines), including 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates.
