Education
Candidates must possess either:
- Diploma in Agricultural Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution with 1 year of experience in repair and maintenance of farm equipment or oil engines.
OR - ITI in Mechanical, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, or Turner with 3 years of relevant experience.
Desirable qualifications include skills in small fabrication works like fitting and welding, knowledge of agricultural sprayers, and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs.
Salary
The pay scale for Black Smith (Junior Technician) is Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200 per month.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.
