SSC GD PET Admit Card 2025 Released for GD Constable Posts: Physical Tests For 3.94 Lakh Candidates From 20 August

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) admit card for the SSC GD Constable recruitment. PET/PST will be conducted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for 3,94,121 candidates shortlisted through the CBT—3,53,908 male and 40,213 female candidates. The physical tests will run from 20 August to 11 September 2025 across about 300 centres, with roughly 1,500 candidates scheduled daily. All CBT-qualified candidates must download their PET admit card from rect.crpf.gov.in and report as per the date, time and venue printed on the admit card.

As per the notification, PST will check height/weight/chest (170 cm for males and 157 cm for females in unreserved/OBC categories; chest 80 cm with 5 cm expansion for males), followed by PET (male: 5 km in 24 minutes; female: 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes). Through this drive, 53,690 GD vacancies will be filled in CAPFs/SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and GD Constable in NCB.

How To Download SSC GD PET Admit Card

  1. Go to rect.crpf.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, open the link under ‘PET/PST events of CT (GD) Exam-2025’.
  3. Log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Your PET/PST admit card will appear on the screen—download it.
  5. Take a clear printout and carry it along with original ID on the test day.

SSC GD PET/PST Pattern & Standards

The physical test has two parts—Physical Standard Test (PST) followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In PST, height, chest (for males), and weight are measured as per notified standards. For general/OBC categories, the minimum height is 170 cm for males and 157 cm for females; reserved categories get relaxation as per rules. Male chest requirement is 80 cm with 5 cm expansion. In PET, candidates must complete the race within the given time: males—5 km in 24 minutes; females—1.6 km in 8.5 minutes. Candidates who qualify PET/PST will be called for medical examination.

Through this recruitment, 53,690 GD vacancies will be filled across CAPFs and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and GD in the Narcotics Control Bureau. Qualified candidates should strictly follow the instructions printed on the admit card regarding reporting time, dress code, and permitted items.
