SSC GD Constable Physical Test Date 2025 Announced
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Physical Test schedule for Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles under the 2023 recruitment drive. The written examination was held from 20 to 29 February 2024 and 01 to 12 March 2024, followed by a re-exam on 30 March 2024. The final answer key was released on 10 July 2024. A total of 46,617 vacancies were notified for this recruitment, making it one of the biggest drives by SSC. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will now be conducted from 20 August to 11 September 2025 for candidates who qualified in the written examination.

The physical eligibility criteria for SSC GD Constable require male candidates to have a minimum height of 170 cm, while female candidates must have a minimum height of 157 cm, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per rules. For male candidates, chest measurement should be at least 80 cm with a 5 cm expansion. Weight for both male and female candidates must be proportionate to their height and age as per medical standards. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) includes a 5 km run to be completed in 24 minutes for male candidates, while candidates from the Ladakh region are required to complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds. For female candidates, the PET involves a 1.6 km run in 8 minutes 30 seconds, and for those from Ladakh, an 800-meter run in 4 minutes.
