The recruitment process was conducted by Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) under Advertisement Numbers 02/2025 to 18/2025. The written examination was held on 26 April 2025, while the Specialist Medical Officer exam (Advt. No. 09-16/2025) was conducted on 31 May 2025. Bihar BTSC SMO Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification & Selection Process

Candidates applying for the technical medical posts were required to have passed the Class 12th examination from a recognized board in India along with relevant professional qualifications such as Diploma in Laboratory Technology or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology depending on the specific post. Applicants were also required to possess valid certification from recognized institutions approved by the Central Government, Bihar Government or other state authorities.

The selection process for Bihar BTSC recruitment was conducted primarily through a Computer Based Test (CBT) examination.
