NEIST Recruitment 2026 for 29 Apprentice and Other Posts
CSIR–North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST), Jorhat, Assam has released Advertisement No. 20/2025-26 HRD inviting applications for 29 Apprentice posts including Graduate Apprentice (Degree) and Technician Apprentice (Diploma). The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for a duration of one year. Eligible candidates possessing B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines can apply by sending the duly filled application form through email before 12 March 2026. Selection will be based on academic performance and interview. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying to confirm eligibility regarding qualification, age, and other criteria.

Salary
Graduate Apprentice (Degree): ₹12,300/- per month
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): ₹10,900/- per month
Age Limit
- Graduate Apprentice: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 27 years
- Technician Apprentice: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

There is no application fee for any category. Application fee is Nil.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on academic performance, experience (if any), and performance in interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
