Education

Essential:
Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Water Resources Management
• Hydrology
• Erosion (River/Coastal) Risk Management
• Disaster Management
• Geography, Geology, Environment
• Civil or Geo-technical Engineering

Desirable:

• M.Phil./Ph.D. in a relevant discipline

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in erosion risk management or related areas.
• Duration of Ph.D./Post Doctoral research work will be counted (up to actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less).

Salary

• Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 1,75,000/- per month (consolidated)
• For retired Government employees: As per MoF guidelines (O.M. dated 09.12.2020)
• No additional allowances

Age Limit

• Maximum: 50 years
• For retired Government officials: Maximum 62 years

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), functioning under the Government of India, has announced the recruitment of 02 Project Managers (GIS Management) on a contractual basis. These positions require candidates with advanced qualifications in engineering, IT, geo-sciences, or allied fields, along with relevant GIS experience. The recruitment aims to strengthen GIS-based disaster risk reduction and mitigation initiatives. Education

Essential: Master’s degree in ECE, Civil, IT, Geo-Tech, Physics, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing, or Geo-informatics or equivalent.
Desirable: Ph.D. or M.Tech in Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics or equivalent.
Experience: GIS application expertise; up to 5 years of research counted as experience; preference for work in disaster risk reduction and mitigation projects.

Salary

₹75,000/- to ₹1,00,000/- per month. For retired government employees, remuneration will be as per Ministry of Finance guidelines dated 09/12/2020.
