National Commission for Scheduled Castes Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 10 Senior Investigator Posts
The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), a constitutional body under the Government of India, has announced recruitment for 10 posts of Senior Investigator on a deputation basis (including short-term contract). Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree from a recognized university/institute in:
- Social Work
- Sociology
- Economics
- Anthropology / Social / Applied Anthropology
- Statistics
- Psychology
- Geography
- Mathematics (with Statistics)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in conducting surveys or research in social welfare, including data analysis and report writing.
Service Requirement:
- Holding analogous post on regular basis OR
- 5 years’ service in Level-6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400)
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of application receipt.
Salary
The post of Senior Investigator is placed in Level-7 of Pay Matrix (₹44,900–₹1,42,400) as per 7th CPC.
