NBEMS Recruitment 2026 For 18 Section Officers, Assistant Directors, Sr Assistants and Other Posts
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has issued a notification for filling 18 posts on deputation basis. The vacancies include Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Section Officer, Section Officer (Official Language), and Senior Assistant positions. This recruitment is strictly for serving officers and officials from Central/State Government Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Universities, and recognized Medical Institutions.

Salary
Pay will be drawn as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Levels:
- Level 12 – Joint Director
- Level 11 – Deputy Director
- Level 10 – Assistant Director
- Level 8 – Section Officer
- Level 7 – Senior Assistant
Allowances and deputation benefits will be governed as per DoPT guidelines.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 56 Years as on closing date of receipt of application.
Officers must not exceed the prescribed age limit at the time of deputation.
Application Fee
No application fee is prescribed for deputation posts.
Selection Process
- Screening of Applications based on service records and eligibility
- Shortlisting of suitable candidates
- Interview
- Final selection based on suitability and approval of parent department
Departmental officers in direct line of promotion are not eligible.
