National Library India Recruitment 2025: Apply for Administrative Officer / Consultant and Other Post
The National Library, Belvedere, Alipore, Kolkata, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has issued Advertisement Notice No. ADM/Estt.(CON)/2023 inviting applications from retired Central Government Officers for engagement as Consultant to function as an Administrative Officer. The appointment will be on a contract basis, providing an opportunity for experienced government officials to contribute to administrative, establishment, and accounts work in one of the largest libraries in the country.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education & Experience
- Must be a retired Central Government Officer at Pay Level-08 or higher.
- Experience in administrative, establishment, or accounts matters.
- Good communication and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to handle one-office platforms.
- Familiarity with RTI procedures, court cases, and parliamentary matters.
Salary
Remuneration will be based on last pay drawn minus pension with an additional fixed transport allowance.
