The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune, functioning under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification for the post of Director. Established in 1986, NIN is a premier autonomous institution involved in research, education, training, and clinical care in the field of Naturopathy and Yoga. The institute operates several centers including Nisarg Gram (Yewalewadi, Pune) and Nisarg Arogya Sadhana Kendra (Gohe Budruk, Pune), playing a pivotal role in promoting AYUSH systems.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Candidate must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute:

• M.Sc. / M.A. in Yoga
• UGC recognized degree + 2-year PG Diploma in Yoga/Naturopathy
• Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS)
• PG degree in any subject + 1-year diploma in Yoga/Naturopathy
• Degree recognized under IMCC Act 1970 + PG diploma/degree in Yoga
• MD/PhD in Yoga/Naturopathy

Experience

Candidate must fulfill any one of the following:

• 12 years of experience in teaching or research in Yoga/Naturopathy
• 12 years of administrative experience in Government/University, including at least 4 years in Level-12 (or equivalent Grade Pay 7600)
• Holding analogous post in Level-13

Desirable

• Prior administrative experience
• Original contribution or publications in the field of Yoga/Naturopathy
• Research papers published in peer-reviewed journals

Salary

• Pay Level–13 of the 7th CPC: Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900 (Group-A post)

Age Limit

• Maximum 56 years for candidates applying on deputation basis as on the closing date of application.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on eligibility, experience, and recommendations by the selection committee. The post will be filled on a deputation/short-term contract for a maximum of 5 years or till superannuation.
