Educational Qualification and Experience
Librarian
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
Applicants also require 10 years of relevant experience, including at least three years as Deputy Librarian or Additional Librarian. Evidence of innovative library services involving ICT and a PhD in Library Science, Documentation, Archives & Manuscript Keeping or the relevant field is also required.
Deputy Librarian
Applicants require a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks and eight years of experience as an Assistant University/College Librarian.
Candidates must also demonstrate innovative library services involving ICT and possess a PhD in the relevant field.
Assistant Registrar
Candidates need a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and a minimum of five years of professional or administrative experience in a university, educational or research institution.
Relevant experience can cover areas such as administration, admissions, examinations, establishment and procurement. Exceptional English-speaking skills are also required.
A qualification in Management or Law, knowledge of General Financial Rules and basic computer skills are desirable.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering along with at least two years of post-qualification experience as a Junior Engineer or in a similar position.
Exceptional English-speaking skills are required. Experience with electrical installations, meters, pumps and air-conditioning systems, along with knowledge of Contract Law and CPWD/PWD procedures, is desirable.
Senior Assistant
Candidates require a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution and at least five years of experience in Administration, Establishment, Academic matters, Finance & Accounts or General Supervision.
Applicants should also possess exceptional English-speaking skills and proficiency in computer operations, noting and drafting.
Library Assistant
Candidates can qualify through either of the following routes:
- Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science with two years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library/Library & Information Science with three years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of computer applications is also required.
Assistant
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution and at least three years of experience in Administration, Establishment, Academic work, Finance & Accounts or General Supervision.
Exceptional English-speaking skills and proficiency in computer operations, noting and drafting are also required.
