MRPL Recruitment 2026 for 05 Fire Officer Posts | Last Date: 16th July 2026
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), has released the MRPL Fire Officer Recruitment 2026 notification for 05 vacancies on a fixed-term employment basis. The recruitment drive is being conducted for the post of Fire Officer (Executive Level L1) at MRPL’s refinery operations in Mangalore, Karnataka. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire or Fire & Safety Engineering and relevant industry experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or Fertilizer sectors are eligible to apply. The online application process commenced on 17 June 2026 and will remain open until 16 July 2026. Selection will be based on shortlisting followed by a personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire or Fire & Safety Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in Fire or Fire & Safety functions.
Relevant experience must be in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or Fertilizer industry.
Candidates should meet the prescribed age criteria as on 16 July 2026.
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire & Safety Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
Minimum aggregate marks required: 60%.
Other Requirement
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Fire and Safety operations.
Experience in emergency planning, fire protection systems, safety training, and emergency response is desirable.
Candidates must upload educational certificates, experience certificates, photograph, signature, and other required documents during the online application process.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC and a leading name in the petroleum refining industry, is inviting applications for Graduate Apprentice Trainees (GAT) and Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Trainees (TAT). This engagement is being conducted through a walk-in Apprenticeship Fair in collaboration with the Board of Apprenticeship Training – Southern Region (BOAT-SR). The training will be for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Interested engineering and diploma graduates from 2021 to 2025 batches must register on the NATS portal and appear at the designated location for walk-in interviews on 22 January 2026.
