MP-IDSA Research Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 09 Research Fellow, Associate Fellow, Analyst and Other Posts

Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), New Delhi, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released the official notification for the recruitment of 09 research positions at various levels. These include Research Fellow, Associate Fellow, and Research Analyst posts, and the appointments will be made on a full-time basis. Candidates with Master’s Degrees, M.Phil., or Ph.D. in relevant disciplines such as Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Policy, or Strategic Affairs, with appropriate research experience, are eligible to apply. The last date to submit online applications via the prescribed Google Form is 24th December 2025 (5:00 PM).

Experience: 4 years (Master’s), 3 years (M.Phil.), or 2 years (Ph.D.)
Age Limit: Not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2026
Research Analyst
Qualification: First Division in Master’s Degree in Social Sciences / Allied Fields
Desirable: M.Phil. / Ph.D. in relevant discipline
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2026
Salary
Research Fellow: Level 12 – ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200 + allowances
Associate Fellow: Level 10 – ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 + allowances
Research Analyst: Fixed ₹35,400/- (equivalent to Level 6) + allowances
