HVF Avadi Junior Technician Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 1850 Posts [CLOSED]

Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF) Avadi, operating under the Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) and Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for 1850 Junior Technician (Contract) posts across various trades. This recruitment, released via Advertisement No. HVF/RG/FTB/RECT/JTC/2025/03, offers fixed-term appointments for one year, extendable up to three additional years based on individual performance. These contract-based positions provide a substantial employment opportunity for ITI/NAC/NTC qualified candidates as well as Matric pass candidates with relevant experience. HVF Junior Technician Vacancy List 2025:

Eligibility criteria and requirement

Candidates must be Indian citizens aged not more than 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxations are applicable: 3 years for OBC-NCL, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD (with additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC), and up to 7 years based on relevant post-qualification experience. Ex-Apprentice trainees are also eligible under provisions of the Apprentices Act.

HVF Junior Technician Education

Candidates applying for trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Welder, and others must have passed NAC/NTC in the respective trade from NCVT/SCVT with a minimum of 65% marks (relaxed as per category). For roles like Operator Material Handling Equipment, Rigger, and Sand & Shot Blaster, a Class X (Matric) qualification along with 2 years of relevant experience is required.

HVF Junior Technician Salary

The basic pay is ₹21,000 per month with Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), 5% Special Allowance, and an additional ₹3,000 monthly for expenses such as medical and conveyance. Candidates will also be eligible for a 3% annual increment on the basic pay after successful completion of the contract tenure.

HVF Junior Technician Age Limit

Maximum age is 35 years as on the application closing date. Relaxation is provided for reserved categories, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and based on relevant experience, subject to a maximum cap of 55 years.

₹300 is applicable for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, payable through SBI Collect. There is no application fee for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, or female candidates.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on NTC/NAC marks. Preference will be given to HVF Ex-Trade Apprentices, followed by OFB Ex-Trade Apprentices, and then to others. The selection involves document verification and a qualifying trade test. Final merit will be prepared based on NTC/NAC marks with tie-breakers in batch seniority, date of birth, or alphabetical order.
