The vacancies comprise six Manager and eight Assistant Manager posts. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 55% aggregate marks, while Manager candidates also need the prescribed officer-level experience in banking or financial institutions. Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Manager

Candidates must be permanent residents of Odisha and possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% aggregate marks.

They must also have either:

• Three years of service experience in an officer cadre in a commercial bank; or
• Five years of service experience in an officer cadre in a cooperative bank or financial institution, including a DFI, NBFC, insurance company or investment company.

Preference will be given to applicants holding a master’s degree in Finance, Bank Management, Cooperative Management, Business Administration or Information Technology.

Assistant Manager

Applicants must be permanent residents of Odisha and hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree in the specified fields and service experience in a commercial bank, cooperative bank or financial institution.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on April 1, 2026.

The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC, ST, SEBC/OBC, women and ex-servicemen candidates, and by 10 years for PwBD candidates. Applicants belonging to more than one eligible category can claim only the single most beneficial relaxation.

Salary and Probation

DA, HRA and other applicable allowances are payable under the Sixth Pay Commission structure. The bank is in the process of implementing the Seventh Pay Commission.

The probation period is 12 months. Candidates whose performance is unsatisfactory may be given an additional six months for improvement.

Selection Process and Examination Pattern

Selection will involve an online written examination followed by viva-voce. Final selection will consider aggregate performance in the written examination and viva-voce, along with experience.

The examination will be conducted in English. Each incorrect answer will attract a penalty of 0.25 mark, while unanswered questions will carry no penalty. Candidates must meet the cut-offs for individual tests and the overall score.

Applicants may appear only once for a post. Examination call letters will be available for download approximately 10 days before the test.
