The university is inviting applications for positions including Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Assistant, Section Officer, and Deputy Registrar. Eligibility criteria and requirement
Age limits vary by position: 40 years for MTS, LDC, Assistant, and Section Officer, and 50 years for Deputy Registrar as on 31/07/2025. Relaxation in age will be as per government norms.
Education
For MTS, candidates must have passed Matriculation or hold an ITI certificate. For LDC, a Bachelor’s Degree with typing speed of 35 wpm in English and proficiency in computer operations is required. For Assistant, a graduate degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience is necessary. Section Officer posts require a graduate degree with 3 years of administrative experience. Deputy Registrar applicants must have a Master’s Degree along with 5 years of administrative experience.
Salary
Pay levels for different posts are as follows:
MTS – Level 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
LDC – Level 2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
Assistant – Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
Section Officer – Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
Deputy Registrar – Level 12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200)
All posts include additional allowances as per university norms.
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 40 years for most posts, and 50 years for Deputy Registrar. The cutoff date is 31/07/2025.
Application Fee
Group A (Pay Level 10 and above): UR/OBC ₹1,000, SC/ST ₹500, PwBD – No fee
Group B & C (Pay Level 7 and below): UR/OBC ₹700, SC/ST ₹350, PwBD – No fee
Fees must be paid online, and the payment receipt should be enclosed with the application form.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve screening of applications followed by written test, skill/practical/trade test, and interview (if applicable), ending with document verification.
