IP India Recruitment 2025 for 86 Registrars, Examiners and Other Posts [Deputation]

The IP India at Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM), functioning under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has released a notification for the recruitment of 86 deputation-based posts in the Trade Marks Registry. These posts include Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, and Examiner of Trade Marks, and are open to experienced legal professionals serving in Central/State Government or other eligible institutions.

Examiner: 2 years in IP/legal matters
A Ph.D. in Intellectual Property is desirable for Registrar posts, while a Master’s in Intellectual Property is desirable for Examiner.
