Indian Army 10+2 TES 55 Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 90 Permanent Commission Posts
The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55), a prestigious opportunity for unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and appeared for JEE (Mains) 2025. The selected candidates will undergo a 4-year training program leading to a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army as an Officer. A total of 90 provisional vacancies have been announced for this course commencing in July 2026.

Education
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Matric with 12th Class) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate.
- Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025.
- PCM marks must be stated accurately up to two decimal places, no rounding off.
- Candidates must be unmarried male citizens of India, or eligible PIO/OCI/Nepal nationals.
Salary
- Stipend During Training (IMA): ₹ 56,100 per month
- Lieutenant: Level 10 (₹ 56,100 – ₹ 1,77,500)
- Approximate CTC: ₹ 17–18 Lakhs per annum
- Military Service Pay: ₹ 15,500/month
- Dress Allowance: ₹ 25,000/year
- Additional benefits include Dearness Allowance, Transport, Children Education, Hostel Subsidy, etc.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 16½ years
- Maximum Age: 19½ years
- Candidates should be born between 02 January 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
- No changes allowed in date of birth once submitted.
Application Fee
- No application fee is required for TES 55 entry.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on JEE (Mains) 2025 marks.
- SSB Interview (5 days) conducted at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Stage I (screening), followed by Stage II (psychology, group tasks, interview).
- Medical Examination for SSB-qualified candidates.
- Final Merit List based on SSB score (not JEE or 12th marks).
- Final training center allocation (CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, MCEME Secunderabad) based on preference and availability.
How to Apply
➤ Step 1: Visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 14th October 2025
➤ Step 2: Register and fill the TES-55 application form with exact PCM percentage (two decimals) and JEE Mains 2025 Roll Number
➤ Step 3: Submit application before 13th November 2025. No changes allowed after the deadline.
➤ Step 4: After application closes, download two copies of the application with Roll Number.
➤ Step 5: Carry the following documents to the SSB Interview:
- Class 10th Certificate (DOB proof)
- Class 12th Certificate/Marksheet
- JEE Mains 2025 Scorecard
- Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/etc.)
- 20 passport-sized photographs
