India Parliament Recruitment 2025: Apply for Consultant Interpreter Posts

India Parliament (Lok Sabha Secretariat) has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications for the empanelment of Consultant Interpreters for regional languages on a contractual basis. This opportunity is open to Indian citizens and retired personnel from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats, Central/State Governments, State Legislature Secretariats, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Judiciary (Supreme Court/High Courts), and local bodies. The Consultant Interpreters will be required to provide interpretation services in regional languages recognized in the Constitution of India, specifically Dogri and Konkani. Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format by post before the deadline of 28th November 2025.

Candidates must hold:
A Master’s degree in any discipline with one of the following:
The concerned regional language studied at Matric level or higher
A Diploma in the concerned regional language
The concerned regional language as mother tongue OR
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with 5 years of experience in translation or interpretation in the concerned regional language.
Salary
The monthly remuneration will be provided as per the rules of the India Parliament (Lok Sabha Secretariat).
Age Limit
The age of applicants should be between 22 to 70 years as on 28th November 2025.
