Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university; must have a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
• MTS: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
  Applicants for both posts must be meritorious sportspersons in recognized sports.

Salary

• Tax Assistant: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
• MTS: Pay Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)

Age Limit

As on 01 January 2026:

• Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years
• MTS: 18 to 25 years

Age Relaxation

• Up to 5 years for General/OBC meritorious sportspersons
• Up to 10 years for SC/ST meritorious sportspersons
• Departmental candidates (3+ years in Central Govt.): up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST)

Application Fee

• ₹200/- (for all candidates)
• To be paid online (upload proof with application)

Selection Process

• Written Examination
• Document Verification (including sports certificates)
