IIT Ropar Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Library Trainees and Other Posts
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar, a premier institute of national importance located in Punjab, has announced recruitment for Library Professional Trainee positions on a temporary contract basis. The institute has released Advertisement No. 06/2025, inviting fresh Post Graduates in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc. or equivalent) to apply for two available posts. The trainees will be engaged to assist in library services at both Transit and Main Campuses of IIT Ropar. Selection will be made through a written test, trade/practical test, and personal interview during a scheduled walk-in-interview on 25th August 2025.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Age Limit
Maximum age is 26 years as on 25/08/2025. Age relaxation: OBC up to 29 years, SC/ST up to 31 years as per Government of India rules.
