Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
PhD in relevant discipline with first-class (minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA) in preceding degree.
- Professor: Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industry experience, including 4 years as Associate Professor at reputed institutes.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industry experience, including 3 years as Assistant Professor.
- Assistant Professor (Grade I): Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Assistant Professor (Grade II): Up to 3 years experience; doctoral students must provide provisional PhD certificate by 31 August 2025.
Salary
As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Professor: ₹1,59,100/- + allowances (Level 14A)
- Associate Professor: ₹1,39,600/- + allowances (Level 13A2)
- Assistant Professor (Grade I): ₹1,01,500/- or ₹1,31,400/- + allowances (Level 12/13A1)
- Assistant Professor (Grade II): ₹70,900/- or ₹71,000/- + allowances (Level 10/11)
Higher starting pay may be offered to deserving candidates.
Age Limit
As per IIMV and Government of India norms, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
