IGNFA Recruitment 2026 For Physical Training & Sports Officer and Other Posts

Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, has released a vacancy circular for the recruitment of one Physical Training & Sports Officer on deputation (including short-term contract) basis. This is a Group “B”, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post located at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The position is intended for eligible officers currently serving under Central/State Governments, Union Territories, Universities, or Autonomous Bodies. The recruitment will be conducted through deputation without any competitive written examination. Salary

Pay Level-07 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-2: ₹9300–34800 + Grade Pay ₹4600).
Other allowances will be applicable as per Central Government rules.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date of application.

This post is meant for government officers eligible for deputation.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through:

1. Screening of applications based on eligibility and service records
2. Consideration under deputation rules as per DoPT guidelines
