ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – 1010 Vacancies Announced [CLOSED]
The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, operating under the Ministry of Railways, has announced a major recruitment drive for 2025 to engage 1010 apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. This opportunity is open to both ITI and non-ITI candidates who seek training in designated trades. The available positions include trades such as Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT (Radiology/Pathology), and PASAA (Computer). Among these, 320 posts are for freshers (non-ITI), and 670 are for Ex-ITI candidates. An additional 20 posts are reserved for MLT roles. Interested and eligible applicants must submit their online applications through the official ICF portal (pb.icf.gov.in) between July 12, 2025, and August 11, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirement
Education
For Freshers: Candidates must have passed 10th class with at least 50% aggregate marks (relaxable for SC/ST/PwBD) or 12th pass for MLT trades. For Ex-ITI: 10th pass with 50% marks along with a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT. For MLT – Radiology/Pathology: 12th pass with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Candidates who have completed an Engineering Degree/Diploma or Act Apprenticeship are not eligible.

Freshers with 10th: ₹6000 per month Freshers with 12th (Science): ₹7000 per month Ex-ITI: ₹7000 per month
