Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in PS III grade with a pay scale of ₹8,600–250–₹14,600 (1997 pay scale) along with Industrial Dearness Allowance and other admissible allowances. Candidates will be placed at the minimum of the pay scale. In addition to salary, employees will be eligible for DA, HRA, Provident Fund, and monthly and annual performance-linked incentives during the contract period.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01 January 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules. Ex-apprentices and contract employees of HMT may be granted age relaxation equal to the period of apprenticeship or contract service.
Application Fee
General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay a total fee of ₹750, which includes ₹500 as application fee and ₹250 as processing fee. SC and ST candidates need to pay only ₹250 as processing fee. Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying any fee. The fee must be paid through a non-refundable account payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of “HMT Machine Tools Ltd, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
For the Officer (Finance) post, candidates must possess ICWA, CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) qualification with at least 60 percent aggregate marks in graduation, relaxed to 50 percent for SC and ST candidates. A minimum of two years of experience in a medium or large organization is required, preferably in industrial accounts, audit, taxation, costing, or budgeting.
For the Officer (Legal) post, candidates must have completed a full-time LLB from a recognized university with at least 60 percent aggregate marks in graduation, relaxed to 50 percent for SC and ST candidates. A minimum of two years of experience in a medium or large organization is required, preferably in industrial law or labour law. Proficiency in computer applications is mandatory for both posts.
Selection Process
Selection will be carried out through a multi-stage process including application screening, shortlisting based on qualifications and experience, and a personal interview or video conference. Final selection will be subject to verification of character, antecedents, caste certificate where applicable, and a pre-employment medical examination conducted at the HMT Hospital. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed second class train fare for the shortest route on submission of valid proof.

Education

Officer (Company Secretary): Graduation with ACS qualification (ICSI membership), 2 years’ relevant experience; Law degree desirable.
Officer (Legal): Full-time LLB with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) and 2 years’ relevant experience.
Hindi Officer: Full-time MA in Hindi with English at degree level, minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) and 2 years’ experience in translation or official language implementation.
Salary
Deputy Manager (Finance): PS IV ₹20,600 – ₹46,500 (Approx. CTC ₹11 lakh per annum).
