GIRHFWT Recruitment 2025 for Faculty and Non-Teaching Posts
The Gandhigram Institute of Rural Health and Family Welfare Trust (GIRHFWT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has invited applications for faculty and non-teaching positions at its Population Research Centre (PRC) in Gandhigram, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
Assistant Professor requires a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and NET qualification. Research Investigator (Regular/Contractual) and Field Investigator require a Post Graduate Degree in Demography, Population Studies, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, or Geography with relevant experience (2–3 years). Data Assistant requires a Graduate degree in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics with 3 years experience. Office Superintendent needs a Post Graduate degree with 5 years experience, while Lower Division Clerk requires any Degree with 2 years experience.
Salary
Pay scales range from ₹35,600 to ₹1,77,500 for regular posts (Assistant Professor, Research Investigator) and consolidated pay of ₹30,000 to ₹58,000 for contractual posts like Office Superintendent, Data Assistant, and LDC.
Age Limit
Maximum age is 55 years for all posts as on 27 July 2025, with relaxation as per Government of India norms (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years).
Application Fee
₹1,000 for all categories via Demand Draft in favor of “The Director, GIRH & FWT” payable at Dindigul.
Selection Process
Selection will include a Written Test followed by an Interview. Skill Test will be conducted for posts that require it.
