ESIC Kollam Walk-In Recruitment 2026: 27 Super Specialist, Specialist and Senior Resident Vacancies

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is conducting a walk-in recruitment drive for 27 Super Specialist, Specialist and Senior Resident positions at ESIC Model & Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam. The contractual vacancies cover departments including Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, General Medicine, ICU, Cardiology, Nephrology, General Surgery and several other specialties.

There is no online application process for the ESIC Kollam recruitment. Eligible medical professionals must report to the hospital on September 3, 2026 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM with the prescribed application form, original certificates, photocopies and other required documents.

The maximum age is 69 years for Super Specialist and Specialist posts and 45 years for Senior Residents as on the interview date. Remuneration varies according to the position and engagement, ranging up to ₹2.40 lakh per month for a Full-Time Senior-level Super Specialist.

Educational Qualification

Qualification requirements differ substantially among the three categories and specialties.

Super Specialist

Candidates need a recognized medical qualification along with the prescribed M.Ch/DM/DNB in the concerned Super Specialty.

For Senior Consultant-level engagement, candidates must additionally have at least five years of experience after obtaining the required Super Specialty qualification.

Specialist

Candidates need the prescribed PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS/BDS along with the required professional registration.

For Junior-level Specialist engagement, the stated experience requirement is three years after a PG Degree or five years after a Diploma. Senior-level engagement requires five years of experience for PG Degree holders or seven years for Diploma holders.

Senior Resident

Candidates generally require a PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty along with the applicable TCMC registration.

For ICU vacancies, the accepted PG disciplines include Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

For Casualty, a PG qualification in Emergency Medicine is preferred. Other specified relevant postgraduate qualifications may also be considered. In their absence, MBBS candidates with two years of the prescribed experience may be considered under the stated conditions.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on September 3, 2026, the date of the interview.

Super Specialist and Specialist engagements may continue subject to the prescribed tenure conditions up to 70 years of age.

For Senior Residents, relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will apply according to the relevant rules.

Salary and Remuneration

Remuneration varies according to the post, level and whether the Super Specialist/Specialist engagement is full-time or part-time.

Senior Resident Remuneration

Senior Residents with a PG Degree will receive approximately ₹1,38,108 per month under Pay Level 11.

The stated deduction is ₹1,688 for Diploma holders and ₹2,813 for candidates without a Diploma/Degree, where applicable under the recruitment conditions.

Application Fee

Candidates must carry the applicable fee through Demand Draft.

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Employees’ State Insurance Fund – Account No 1”, payable at Kollam.

Selection Process

Selection will take into consideration the candidate’s educational qualifications, relevant professional experience and performance during the walk-in interview.

Original certificates will be checked as part of the recruitment process. Candidates should therefore carry both original documents and the required photocopies when attending the interview.

How to Attend ESIC Kollam Walk-In Interview 2026

1. Obtain the prescribed application form given as Annexure-I and fill it completely.
2. Check the qualification and experience requirements applicable to the desired specialty and post.
3. Arrange the required original certificates along with one set of photocopies.
4. Carry two recent passport-size photographs, with one photograph affixed to the application.
5. Prepare the Demand Draft for the application fee if you are not exempted.
6. Report at ESIC Model & Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam, Kerala – 691002 on September 3, 2026.
7. Complete registration between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
8. Complete document verification and appear for the walk-in interview as instructed by the hospital.
