Engineers India Limited (EIL) has announced recruitment for 20 Associate Engineer Grade-I positions under Advertisement No. HRD/Rectt./Advt./2026-27/10. The EIL Recruitment 2026 drive includes 16 vacancies for Mechanical/Metallurgical inspection professionals and four for Electrical inspection. Candidates require a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Vacancy Distribution and Remuneration

The amount payable within the stated range will vary according to the category of the city where the candidate is deployed.

The remuneration is contractual compensation and not a 7th CPC Central Government pay scale.

Mechanical/Metallurgical Qualification and Experience

Candidates applying for Associate Engineer Grade-I in Inspection Mechanical/Metallurgical must possess a B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc. Engineering degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.

Applicants require at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience in inspection work involving equipment such as:

• Pressure vessels
• Heat exchangers
• Columns and towers
• Reactors
• Pumps
• Compressors
• Other relevant mechanical equipment

The prescribed experience should involve applicable engineering and inspection standards, including ASME or API standards where required for the assignment.

Electrical Qualification and Experience

For Associate Engineer Grade-I in Inspection Electrical, candidates require a B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.

Applicants must have at least two years of relevant post-qualification inspection experience involving electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers and other prescribed electrical systems/equipment.

Experience should be properly supported by certificates showing the nature and duration of the work performed.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The normal upper age limit is 32 years as on August 31, 2026.

Candidates claiming relaxation must possess valid supporting certificates in the prescribed format.

EIL Associate Engineer Remuneration

Selected Associate Engineer Grade-I candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹57,600 to ₹64,000.

Selection Process

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Personal Interview.
