DVC Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 54 Vacancies

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), a premier power utility under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released a Special Recruitment Drive notification for the post of Executive Trainee (ET) in various engineering disciplines. This recruitment is exclusively for backlog vacancies reserved for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwBD candidates. A total of 54 vacancies are to be filled across disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I). Selection will be made based on valid GATE-2025 scores followed by document verification. The online application process began on 28th November 2025 and will remain open until 23rd December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Full-time B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institute.
Minimum 65% marks for OBC-NCL candidates.
Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Valid GATE-2025 score in respective paper is mandatory.
Salary
Pay Matrix Level-10: ₹ 56,100 – ₹ 1,77,500 per month
Age Limit
Maximum 29 years for Unreserved candidates as on 23rd December 2025.
Relaxation:
3 years for OBC-NCL
5 years for SC/ST
As per Government rules for PwBD candidates
No upper age limit for departmental (DVC) employees
