CSIR-NIScPR Recruitment 2026: Walk-In for 14 Project Associate and Senior Project Associate Posts on September 3

CSIR–National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR), New Delhi will hold a walk-in interview on September 3, 2026, to fill 14 project positions under the CSIR ULIP project. The recruitment covers Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II, Senior Project Associate and specialized Senior Project Associate roles across three project activities.

The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. NIScPR/ULIP/VII/2026-R&A. Depending on the post, candidates require relevant graduation, postgraduate, engineering, technology or doctoral qualifications along with the prescribed experience. Selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹42,000 plus HRA, with the applicable amount for some Project Associate positions depending on NET, GATE or other national-level examination qualification.

Candidates do not need to submit an online application for the walk-in process. They must report at Vivekananda Hall, CSIR-NIScPR, Dr. K. S. Krishnan Marg, Pusa Gate, New Delhi, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on September 3. Candidates arriving after 11:00 AM will not be entertained.

Post-Wise Qualification and Experience

Project Associate-I – IT/Computer Science

Candidates should have MCA, B.E. or B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

Desirable skills include web development using technologies such as PERL, Java, JSP, Python, PHP or ASP.NET; working knowledge of Windows/Linux and SQL-based databases; AI/ML tools; and customization of open-source content management systems.

Project Associate-I

Applicants should possess a Master’s/Integrated Master’s degree in Natural, Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc/Animal Sciences, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine.

Relevant exposure to science communication, MS Office, database management, report writing, graphic design, social media, video or podcast production and traditional knowledge is desirable.

Project Associate-II

Candidates should meet the prescribed Project Associate-I educational requirement along with two years of research and development experience in industrial, academic or science and technology organizations. A Master’s/Integrated Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology is also included among the prescribed qualification routes.

Senior Project Associate

The qualification routes include a Master’s/Integrated Master’s in the relevant science discipline or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine with the required R&D experience; a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology; or the prescribed doctoral/medical qualification with relevant experience, depending on the position.

Senior Project Associate cum Reporter–Content Developer (English)

Candidates should possess the prescribed Master’s or Bachelor’s qualification in areas including science, engineering, technology, medicine, journalism, mass communication or science communication, along with four years of relevant R&D or English content-development experience for mass media/science communication. A doctoral qualification is also accepted under the prescribed conditions.

Senior Project Associate cum Graphic Designer

Relevant qualifications include the prescribed Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, including qualifications in Graphic Designing, Visual Communication or Multimedia, or a degree with the required diploma/certificate in Graphics and Multimedia.

Candidates following the experience-based route require four years of relevant graphic designing or animation experience. Knowledge of applications such as CorelDRAW, Photoshop, InDesign, 3D Max and Adobe tools is desirable.

Senior Project Associate cum Audio & Video Editor

Applicants require the prescribed relevant Master’s/Bachelor’s qualification and four years of experience as a video editor in areas such as television, film, advertising agencies or production houses, or the applicable doctoral qualification route. Relevant skills include Adobe Premiere Pro and VFX/SFX work.

Salary and Monthly Emoluments

Project Associate-I candidates qualifying through NET, GATE or the applicable national-level examination criteria can receive ₹31,000 plus HRA per month, while other eligible candidates receive ₹25,000 plus HRA.

For Project Associate-II, the corresponding emoluments are ₹35,000 plus HRA for candidates meeting the applicable national-level examination criterion and ₹28,000 plus HRA for others. For the Project Associate-II positions under the rural development activity, the notified amount is ₹28,000 plus HRA.

Senior Project Associate positions carry monthly emoluments of ₹42,000 plus HRA.
