The Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. H/04/2025 for the recruitment of Senior Resident and Junior Resident positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill 18 posts on a contractual basis at the Hazra Campus Hospital Unit. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Senior Resident: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized university, along with valid MCI/State Medical Council registration. At least 3 years of post-PG experience is preferred.
• Junior Resident: MBBS from a recognized university with MCI/State Medical Council registration. 1 year of experience post-qualification is desirable.

Salary

• Senior Resident: Level 11 — ₹67,700/- + applicable allowances
• Junior Resident: Level 10 — ₹56,100/- + applicable allowances

Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Maximum 45 years
• Junior Resident: Maximum 37 years
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
