CMO Jamtara Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 2 Posts
The Office of Civil Surgeon Officer and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Jamtara, has invited applications for Medical Officer posts on a full-time, honorarium-based, temporary basis. This recruitment is purely contractual and does not guarantee future regularization into government service. Eligible candidates with MBBS qualifications can appear for the walk-in interview by submitting applications before 31 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- MBBS or equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Experience:
- Not specifically required, but all original documents will be verified.
Age Limit:
- Upper Age Limit: 67 years
- Candidates above 65 years must submit a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
General Instructions
- Appointment is on honorarium basis; no claim for permanent government job.
- Performance will be reviewed after 3 months; unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination.
- Either party (doctor or department) may end the contract with one month’s notice.
- MBBS interns may apply but must submit their final degree at the time of joining.
- ST candidates must provide caste certificate issued by SDO/Deputy Commissioner.
- Candidates with CGPA must provide a conversion chart along with their mark sheets.
- Original certificates will be verified within 3 months of joining.
- Providing false documents may lead to cancellation and legal action.

Eligible candidates must appear for a Walk-in Interview at the Office of the Civil Surgeon, Jamtara, with the following:
- Prescribed application form
- Original and self-attested photocopies of:
- Educational certificates
- MBBS degree/provisional certificate
- Birth certificate
- Internship completion certificate (if applicable)
- Valid ID proof
- Caste certificate (for ST category)
- Health certificate (if age is over 65)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
