Eligibility criteria and requirement
Applicants must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh and aged between 18 and 28 years as of 01/01/2025. Relaxations in age limit are provided for SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen, and other reserved categories in accordance with government rules.
Education
Different posts have different educational requirements. Station Officer (Sub-Inspector) must hold a B.Sc. or B.E. in Fire Engineering. Fireman and Store Keeper posts require a 10+2 pass certificate. Driver and Driver cum Operator posts require 10+2 along with a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license. For the Mechanic post, candidates must hold an ITI in Diesel Mechanic Trade. Watchroom Operator and Wireless Operator (Contractual) posts require 10+2 along with Trained Nagar Sainik certification, and the Wireless Operator must also have Wireless Operator training.
Salary
Remuneration for all posts will be as per norms set by the Chhattisgarh Fire Department and Government of Chhattisgarh for each post.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age as of 01/01/2025. Relaxation in upper age limit applies for reserved categories.
Application Fee
General and OBC category candidates are required to pay ₹300, while SC/ST candidates must pay ₹200. Fees are to be paid online using credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will include application scrutiny, physical efficiency and physical standard tests (PET/PST), written examination, skill test (if applicable), document verification, and medical examination. The skill test will be conducted for posts like Driver and Driver cum Operator where applicable.
