CERT-In Recruitment 2026 for 133 Scientist-B and Other Posts

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has released the CERT-In Recruitment 2026 notification for 133 Scientist-B (Group ‘A’) posts. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for engineering and postgraduate candidates with a valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 score to join a prestigious Central Government organization. Vacancies are available in Computer Science & IT, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, and Electronics & Communication Engineering disciplines. Selected candidates will receive Level-10 pay under the 7th CPC. Interested candidates can apply online from 14 July 2026 to 17 August 2026.

Salary

• Level-10 Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC
• ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month

Age Limit

• General/EWS: 30 years
• OBC: 33 years
• SC/ST: 35 years
• PwBD: Up to 40/43/45 years (as applicable)
• Other age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules.

• Nil for all categories.
• No application fee is payable at any stage of the recruitment process.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on valid GATE Score (discipline-wise/category-wise in 1:5 ratio)
• Document Verification
• Personal Interaction/Interview
• Final Merit: 60% GATE Score + 40% Interview Marks
• Tie-breaking: Higher GATE Score → Higher Technical Interview Marks → Older Candidate
