Eligibility Criteria

Technician (1)

• Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent + ITI in relevant trade
• Experience: 2 years in relevant field (if specified in trade)
• Age Limit: 28 years as on 23/02/2026

Technical Assistant

• Qualification:
  • 1st Class Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline
  • OR 1st Class B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc.
• Age Limit: 28 years as on 23/02/2026

Technical Officer

• Qualification:
  • M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Biotech / Microbiology / Cell Biology
  • OR B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline

• Senior Scientist: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 2 years of postdoctoral experience specifically in Conservation Biology, Ecology, or Evolution.

Salary

• Scientist: Approx ₹1,38,652 per month
• Senior Scientist: Approx ₹1,59,520 per month
  (Salary as per CSIR rules and pay matrix)

Age Limit

• Scientist: Maximum 32 years
• Senior Scientist: Maximum 37 years
