Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Scientist: Ph.D. in Life Sciences or thesis submitted in relevant field.
• Senior Scientist: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 2 years of postdoctoral experience specifically in Conservation Biology, Ecology, or Evolution.

Salary

• Scientist: Approx ₹1,38,652 per month
• Senior Scientist: Approx ₹1,59,520 per month
  (Salary as per CSIR rules and pay matrix)

Age Limit

• Scientist: Maximum 32 years
• Senior Scientist: Maximum 37 years

• General/OBC: ₹500/-
• Exempted: SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen
