BRIC CDFD Recruitment 2026 For 02 Scientist Posts | Last Date: 31st March 2026

Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, an autonomous institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 06/2025 dated 27.12.2025 for recruitment to Scientist-IV and Scientist-III posts. A total of 02 vacancies have been announced for highly qualified and experienced researchers in frontier areas of modern biology. Candidates with First Class M.Sc., M.Tech, MD, MVSc, M.Pharm, M.Biotech or Ph.D qualifications along with relevant R&D experience are eligible to apply. The recruitment will be conducted through shortlisting and interview process. The last date for submission of online application as well as receipt of hard copy is 31 March 2026. The job location for selected candidates will be Hyderabad, Telangana.

Salary

Scientist-IV will be placed in Pay Level 12 and Scientist-III in Pay Level 11 as per 7th CPC pay matrix along with admissible allowances as per Government of India rules.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for Scientist-IV is 45 years for direct recruitment and 56 years for deputation. For Scientist-III, the upper age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.

Application Fee

OBC candidates (India) are required to pay ₹300/-. OBC candidates with OCI status (abroad) must pay USD 20 or equivalent INR. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fee. The fee must be paid online through SBI Collect.

Selection Process

The selection process includes screening and shortlisting of applications based on eligibility and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for presentation and personal interview followed by document verification.

THSTI, an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is seeking skilled professionals for research, clinical, and data management roles. Eligible candidates can either apply online or attend walk-in interviews, depending on the post, with deadlines ranging from 28th August to 24th September 2025.

Candidates must possess qualifications relevant to the post applied for. Medical roles like Medical Monitor and Clinical Research Associate require an MBBS or MD. Research and scientific roles demand a Ph.D., M.Sc., M.Tech., or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields.
