IIT BHU Recruitment 2026 for Assistant Professor Grade-I & Grade-II Posts | Last Date: 31st July 2026

Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi has released Advertisement No. IIT(BHU)/FA/Special Drive/01/2026 for the recruitment of Assistant Professor Grade-I and Grade-II posts under a Special Recruitment Drive. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the BHU Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 notification for 10 Group B and Group C vacancies at Bharat Kala Bhawan. The recruitment includes Assistant Curator, Artist, Assistant Photographer, Junior Darner, and Gallery Attendant posts. • Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification and relevant experience for the respective post.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government rules.
• Relevant museum experience is desirable for applicable posts.

Educational Requirement

• Assistant Curator: Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with 55% marks.
• Artist: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with relevant experience.
• Assistant Photographer: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with Photography or Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Photography and one year of experience.
• Junior Darner: Intermediate with five years of relevant museum experience.
• Gallery Attendant: Intermediate (museum experience desirable).

Other Requirement

• Relevant work experience wherever prescribed.
• Original documents must be produced during document verification.
• Hard copy of the submitted online application along with supporting documents must be sent to BHU before the prescribed deadline.
