Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Transmission Business Group (TBG), Noida has opened recruitment for 10 FTA Supervisor (Gr III) – Safety positions for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities at its project sites across India. The fixed-tenure appointments have been announced under Advertisement No. FTA 02/2026.

Online applications for BHEL Supervisor Recruitment 2026 opened on August 18 and will close on September 7, 2026. Applicants need a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology with the prescribed marks and at least two years of post-diploma experience in safety/HSE at construction sites. A one-year Diploma in Industrial Safety is desirable.

The appointments will initially be for two years or until completion of the assignment, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates will receive ₹45,000 per month during the first year and ₹48,000 per month during the second year. BHEL is recruiting FTA Supervisor (Gr III) – Safety personnel under position code FTA_TBG_001_HSE for deployment at TBG sites.

BHEL Supervisor Vacancy Details

The positions are intended for HSE activities at BHEL Transmission Business Group project sites across India.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University or Board.

UR, EWS, OBC, PwD and ST candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in the Diploma. The minimum requirement for SC candidates is 50%.

A full-time one-year Diploma in Industrial Safety, preferably from RLI/CLI, is listed as a desirable qualification.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must have at least two years of post-Diploma Engineering experience in the field of Safety/HSE at construction sites.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience at switchyards, power plants or refineries. Experience in building or other construction work in a supervisory capacity for five years, including at least two years of relevant construction-site experience, will also receive preference.

Candidates with experience conducting mock drills, safety audits, inspections and indoor/outdoor training on HSE subjects are preferred. Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is also desirable.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years as of August 2, 2026. Candidates should have been born on or after August 2, 1991, subject to applicable relaxation.

The J&K relaxation applies under the stated conditions to candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989.

BHEL FTA Supervisor Salary 2026

The engagement is for an initial period of two years or until completion of the assignment, whichever occurs earlier.

Selection Process

Selection for BHEL FTA Supervisor Recruitment 2026 will involve:

2. Personal Interview

BHEL will screen applications against the prescribed job specifications and eligibility conditions. Candidates satisfying the requirements and shortlisted through the screening process will be called for a Personal Interview.

Final selection will be based on performance in the Personal Interview.

The UTR number/transaction ID must be entered in the online application. A copy of the fee receipt must also be submitted with the acknowledgement slip.

4. Pay the prescribed ₹236 application fee and enter the UTR/transaction ID in the application.
5. Submit the online application by September 7, 2026.
6. Download and print the acknowledgement slip generated after submission.
7. Sign the acknowledgement slip and attach the required self-attested documents and applicable fee receipt.
8. Send the complete application package by post to: Sr DGM/HR, BHEL-TBG, Floor 5, BHEL Sadan, Sector 16A, Noida – 201301.
9. The envelope should be superscribed “Application for Appointment as FTA Gr III (Supervisor) – [FTA_TBG_001_HSE]”.
10. The hard copy must reach BHEL by September 14, 2026, or September 21 for candidates covered under the specified far-flung-area provision.
