Eligibility Criteria

Mode of Recruitment

• Deputation: Initially for one year, extendable up to three years.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date (15.03.2026)

Essential Qualification (A)

• Officers working in Central Government / Autonomous / Research Institutions:
  • Holding analogous post on regular basis
    OR
  • 10 years of regular service in Level 10 or above, with at least 3 years in Level 11

Essential Qualification (B)

• Postgraduate Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks
• 10 years’ experience in General Administration, Finance & Accounts, Establishment, or Stores & Purchase in senior roles in Government, PSUs, Research Institutions, or Universities

Desirable Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Law, HR Management, Financial Management, Logistics Management, or Industrial Relations
• Civil works project handling experience
• Working knowledge of computer-aided management systems

Salary

• Level 12: Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200 (7th CPC Pay Matrix)

Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. ARIES/Estt./2025-26/646 for the recruitment of 44 administrative and technical positions. This drive offers opportunities for eligible Indian citizens to serve in diverse roles, ranging from scientific and engineering assistants to clerical, accounts, and multi-tasking staff. The vacancies are open under both direct recruitment and deputation modes. Interested candidates can apply online between 29th August 2025 and 17th October 2025.

Applicants must hold the prescribed qualifications and work experience relevant to their chosen post. For direct recruitment, the minimum educational requirements include 10th/12th pass with technical skills, ITI/Diploma in Engineering, B.Sc., B.Com, or graduation with computer knowledge. • Level 5: ₹29,200–92,300 (Engineering/Scientific/Accounts/Admin Assistants)
• Level 6: ₹35,400–1,12,400 (Sr. Scientific Assistant, Junior Officer, PA)
• Level 7: ₹44,900–1,42,400 (Senior Scientific Associate)
