Educational Qualification and Experience

Scientist “B” — R&D

Officer “B” — Finance & Accounts

Technical Assistant “A”

Candidates must possess the relevant qualification through either of the following routes:

• B.Sc. in Physical Sciences with Chemistry as one of the subjects.
• Three-year full-time diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

The qualification must correspond to the advertised discipline.

Assistant “A”

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institute and three years of experience in relevant functions such as the Director’s Office, Administration & Establishment, HRD, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase or liaison work.

Technician “A”

Candidates must have passed Class 10/SSC and completed a two-year full-time ITI course in the relevant trade. Three years of technical experience in industry or research and development laboratories is also required.

Driver “A”

Applicants must have:

• Class 10/SSC qualification.
• A valid licence to drive light and heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of motor mechanisms.
• At least three years of light motor vehicle driving experience and six years of heavy vehicle driving experience.

Preference will be given to ex-servicemen.

Age Limit

The maximum ages are 30 years for Scientist “B” and Technical Assistant “A”, 28 years for Assistant “A” and Technician “A”, and 27 years for Driver “A”.
