AMPRI Recruitment 2026 for Technical Assistant, Technician and Other Posts

Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal, a constituent laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has invited online applications for the recruitment of Technical Assistant and Technician posts. The institute plays a leading role in the development of advanced materials and process technologies and offers an opportunity for technical professionals to contribute to national-level R&D work. A total of 13 vacancies have been announced under the latest recruitment drive for the year 2025-26. Interested candidates with a diploma in engineering or ITI qualifications can apply online before the deadline of 4th January 2026. Selected candidates will be appointed to full-time positions at AMPRI’s campus located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Technical Assistant: Must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology of at least 3 years (or 2 years in case of lateral entry) with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of experience in the relevant area.
• Technician: Must have passed 10th/SSC with at least 55% marks along with:
  • ITI Certificate/National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR
  • 2 years full-time apprentice training in the same trade OR
  • 3 years’ work experience in the same trade in a government or public sector organization.

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 1,12,400 per month (as per Pay Matrix Level under 7th CPC)

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 28 years (as on the closing date of application)

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Nil
