AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025: Apply for 10+ Medical Officers, Medical Physicists and Other

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has invited online applications for the recruitment of 09 non-faculty positions. These positions are being filled on a direct recruitment basis under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The recruitment includes posts such as Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Child Psychologist, Medical Officer, and Medical Physicist. Interested and eligible Indian nationals can apply online from 5th July 2025 to 4th August 2025. The recruitment process includes interview and document verification.

Eligibility criteria and requirement

Candidates applying for these posts must have the required degrees, diplomas, or certificates from institutions recognized by the Government of India, including those offered via Open and Distance Learning, provided they are approved. Experience in teaching or research must also be recognized by the Medical Council of India or equivalent authorities. Equivalent qualifications must be backed by an Equivalence Certificate during document verification.

Education

Applicants should hold the required educational qualifications for each respective post, such as B.Sc. Nursing, postgraduate degrees in psychology, medical degrees, or relevant science degrees for the post of Medical Physicist. Exact qualifications depend on the nature of the post and must be from a recognized institution.

Salary

All posts are under Pay Level 10 as per the 7th CPC pay matrix, with applicable allowances as per government rules.

Age Limit

Age criteria have not been specifically mentioned, but applicants must ensure they fulfill the age conditions laid out in the official notification. Relaxation in age will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Application Fee

The application fee for General, OBC, EWS, and Ex-Serviceman candidates is ₹1,000, while SC/ST candidates must pay ₹800. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the fee. Payment should be made online and is non-refundable. Applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected unless exempted.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of an interview followed by document verification. Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications and interview performance. At the time of document verification, original certificates and self-attested photocopies of age, education, experience, caste/EWS status, and other relevant documents must be submitted. Candidates employed in Central/State Governments, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Eligible candidates must first fill out the online application form through the Google Form link provided on the official AIIMS Gorakhpur website between 5th July 2025 and 4th August 2025. After online submission, a signed printout of the application form must be sent along with self-attested copies of all supporting documents, photographs, and the fee receipt to the following address via Speed/Registered Post:
