Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
A medical qualification included in the First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Candidates with qualifications in Part II of the Third Schedule must meet conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act.
Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
A postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
Salary
Medical Candidates (MD/MS/MCH): Level-11 in Pay Matrix with minimum ₹67,700 + NPA + allowances.
Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.): Level-10 in Pay Matrix with minimum ₹56,100 + allowances (NPA not applicable).
Age Limit
Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of interview (02/09/2025).
Relaxations applicable as per government norms.
